Ages: 6 weeks & older | Monday - Thursday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Our Full-Day Care program provides a consistent, engaging day for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children who have not yet entered a full-time school schedule.
Each day includes a thoughtful balance of:
Learning and hands-on activities
Creative play and projects
Outdoor play and movement
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided
Daily rest time
Our learning experiences are organized around monthly themes that bring new topics, activities, books, projects, and experiences into the classroom. Throughout the year, children also have opportunities to participate in scheduled field trips and special activities that extend learning beyond our everyday routine.
Families stay connected through Brightwheel, our primary communication platform. Daily updates give parents a look into their child's day through photos, activities, and important information. Parent-teacher conferences are also offered twice each year to discuss development, progress, and continued growth.
Adelphia Kids operates on a year-round calendar, with our regular learning routine following the school-year schedule. During seasonal and school breaks, our days shift to a more relaxed schedule with themed activities, crafts, projects, play, and seasonal fun.
Ages 42 months & older | Tuesday - Thursday | 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Our Core Learning Pod offers a more focused academic portion of the day with a balance of structured learning, hands-on experiences, and opportunities for children to learn at their individual level. Lessons and activities are designed to build skills while encouraging children to think, ask questions, problem-solve, and become more independent learners.
Each day may include:
• Literacy and language development
• Math and number concepts
• Science and hands-on exploration
• Writing and fine-motor activities
• Art and creative projects
• Group and independent learning
• Outdoor play and movement
• Lunch provided
Learning is organized around monthly themes, allowing us to connect academics with books, projects, experiments, seasonal topics, and real-world experiences. Children have opportunities to learn together as a group while also working on skills and activities appropriate to their individual learning level.
The Core Learning Pod follows a school-year calendar based on local school schedules. A school-year calendar is provided to families in advance.

Our Enrichments & Extended Day Programs offer additional opportunities for children and families beyond the regular Full-Day Care and Core Learning Pod schedules.
Enrichment opportunities may include:
• Monday homeschool co-op opportunities
• Field trips and community outings
• Seasonal celebrations and special events
• Special guests and unique learning experiences
• Additional programs offered throughout the school year and summer
Enrichment offerings may change throughout the year, allowing us to introduce new experiences and opportunities based on the season, children's interests, and program calendar.
Extended Day includes before- and after-school care for school-age children through age 12. Children have a comfortable place to begin or end their school day with meals or snacks, activities, homework time when needed, outdoor play, and time with friends.
Children enrolled in before- and after-school care may also attend Adelphia Kids for full days when school is not in session, including scheduled days off, school breaks, and summer months, when space is available. Full-day availability and scheduling are shared with families in advance.
Our days follow a familiar rhythm while leaving room for special activities, weather, children's interests, and the natural flow of the day.
Arrival & Table Time
Children begin their morning with table activities and manipulatives while connecting with friends as everyone arrives.
Breakfast
Children enjoy breakfast together and are encouraged to develop independence at mealtimes through age-appropriate self-serving, making choices, and learning about portions.
Morning Outdoor Time
After breakfast and cleanup, we head outside for fresh air, movement, and play. When we return indoors, children transition through toileting, handwashing, putting away shoes, and getting settled for our morning gathering.
Morning Gathering
We come together for calendar, weather, conversation, monthly themes, songs, and an introduction to the day's learning.
Learning Time
Infant & Toddler Learning
Our youngest children enjoy learning experiences designed especially for their stage of development. Songs, nursery rhymes, early language activities, tummy time and movement, sensory experiences, simple art, and hands-on play are incorporated throughout their learning time. Monthly themes are also brought into their environment through toys, materials, books, and activities they can explore through play.
Core Learning
Preschool and older children participate in literacy, math, science, writing, and other academic experiences through a combination of group learning, individual work, and hands-on activities. Art, sensory experiences, building, imaginative play, projects, and materials connected to our monthly theme help bring learning into their everyday experiences.
Lunch & Rest
Children enjoy lunch together followed by our daily rest period.
Afternoon Snack, Play & Outdoor Time
After rest time, children enjoy an afternoon snack followed by a more relaxed part of the day. Depending on the weather, afternoons may include outdoor play and movement, indoor activities, free play, projects, and time with friends.
