Adelphia Kids is a home-based preschool and learning program in Orland Hills offering full-day care, a Core Learning Pod, and enrichment opportunities for children. Our program combines the comfort and flexibility of a home environment with the structure and purpose of an educational setting.
Children spend their days learning through a combination of academics, hands-on projects, art, sensory experiences, imaginative play, outdoor activities, and everyday exploration. With more than 25 years of early childhood experience behind the program, Adelphia Kids is designed to give children a place where they can enjoy childhood while continuing to learn, grow, and build confidence.

Meet the Director
Adelphia Kids is owned and operated by Maria Tsinoukas, an experienced early childhood educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, and minors in Child Advocacy and Psychology. With more than 25 years of experience working with children, Maria brings both an educational background and a deep understanding of how young children learn, develop, and thrive.
Her approach combines the best parts of childhood while building the skills, confidence, and independance they need to grow. Through play, creativity, exploration, and meaningful learning experiences, children are encouraged to be curious, capable, and excited about learning.

Our Philosophy and Values
At Adelphia Kids, we believe children can build a strong educational foundation without rushing through childhood. Our approach brings learning into real experiences through hands-on activities, creative projects, play, exploration, and everyday opportunities to think, discover, and problem-solve. Children are encouraged to try things independently, make choices, care for their belongings and environment, and build confidence in what they are capable of doing.
Christian values such as kindness, gratitude, compassion, respect, and caring for others are reflected in the way we treat one another. While Adelphia Kids is not a faith-based school or religious program, these values are naturally present throughout our program. We also enjoy the fun and traditions of childhood throughout the year, including seasonal and holiday celebrations such as Christmas and Easter.
